Caverns of IO is a maze shooter released on Newgrounds on July 5, 2014 by Merrak. It was featured on Pixel Love on August 18, 2014. The player uses their ship to explore the caverns and mine resources while fending off enemy ships.

Arrow keys - Move in respective direction
ADWS keys - Shoot left/right/up/down- P key - Pause game
- M key - Toggle sounds
- I key - Quit
- S key - Display level select screen (only on titlescreen)
- H key - Display help screen
Levels[]
The ship is moved around the maze-like stages to destroy enemy ships and collect their pickups. When all enemies are defeated within the area, an opening appears somewhere in the stage, allowing the ship to move to the next level.
