Snow Tale is a jump'n'run platform game developed by Neutronized and released on January 24, 2012. It was featured on Pixel Love on October 9, 2012 and is the second Neutronized game to be a Pixel Love game, after Roar Rampage. The game follows the adventures of a penguin through a snowy land.
Controls[]
Left and right arrow keys - Move left/right
- Tap the same key twice to perform a roll
Up arrow key - Jump
- Tap twice to double jump
Spacebar - Throw snowball
Gameplay[]
Snow Tale takes place in a winter environment. The penguin must make it to the bell poles without losing all its lives. Using snowballs, players can temporarily freeze enemies, then run into them to turn them into popsicles. All enemies on the same platform, including ones that are not frozen, will get knocked out along with the enemy that was initially frozen.
At the end of every level that is a multiple of 5, the penguin encounters a boss. Multiple snowballs are required to hit the boss' weak point before it is defeated, allowing the player to finish the level.
